I empathize deeply with Beha's journey. But given what he understands, I find confusing his philosophical suicide, as Camus would put it. Especially not in the name of liberalism, which he doesn't quite do like Hirsi Ali, but close it enough. This will probably end up a WAP pick.

I can't disagree with the point this article makes, but the unqualified assertion that Bitcoin's value is purely speculative is wrong. Like gold, Bitcoin has a many consumptive uses. It's just that the demand for those does not support the inflated speculative prices. It's a shame that all the speculation blinds otherwise smart people to Bitcoin's utility.
The biggest mistake I see liberals making is not taking post-liberal concerns seriously.
